I wrote two plugins for Houdini. I'm using them on a daily basis.
The first one allows me to detect fractured faces.
ie: I'm running a RBD simulation and want to emit particles and dust from my fractured faces.
The plugin will detects when those fractures happen and will then create a custom attribute. I can later use that attribute to emit my elements.
The second one stores the frame value when the rule returned True.
ie: at frame 29, point number 4 switches to red, if the rule was "$CR==1", my new attribute value for point 4 will be 29
I ve added a few more options such as an output group for the exposed faces andthe fracture attribute can now fade off.
